Ok Winnie went with us again along with the sister to the bowling lanes. And after game four magic happened, I bowled a 146! She and I tied for our highest scores ever, wee hoo! She of course did better than me throughout the night, but that last game, I was the champion!
And the uncle didn't do too bad himself. His high for the night was a whopping 236 or something close to that. The bowling lady couldn't get the printer to print out scores so I can't remember his exact highest score, of course that is not his all time best as he says he has bowled several perfect games in his time, crazy!

Winnie is getting a little older now so it was about time she learned to bowl. We headed out with the Uncle who gave us some tips on how to knock more pins down.

But just as the lessons were kicking in we got bumped outta there and only got through 2 games. And I was actually improving, so sad.
Guess we will just have to go back again.

It was a big day for Winnie a couple weekends ago. Started out with the usual car chase, she has a thing for Red Minis I am noticing.

And then it was on to the golf course. We thought it was kinda funny that the clubs matched the car.

Everyone got all dressed up for the Trinity Tourney 2006 which led to my a new nickname, "Coco" as in Chanel. I was rather coordinated in pink that day, what can I say? I know those aren't my pink feet, but this gal arrived in flip flops that were argyle golfy, mix in the socks and well it is just too fun!

The course was beautiful and we had awesome weather. Couldn't ask for more really and then we saw this little guy out there. The course owners said they feed him when they can since he looks a little ill, poor fella.

We had such a nice day out there, with lots of fun for a sibling team of four.

Winnie got to make a new friend with the golf cart.

And we even ended it all with a prize! That's right we got the worst team score! he he he. Ok, so it was my first day ever at a golf course, my sisters too, let alone actually playing. We still had a great day, and a yummy meal afterwards. We might even try it again someday, so that is a success in our book!

Winnies first crush. She was chasing down this cutie on the highway this weekend. She went faster than ever before just to get a closer peek.

Hot dog run! Winnie had to skip out of the celebration for a quick minute. There was some roasting going on over ther weekend but sometimes you just want a hot dog instead :)

This was a big day for Winnie. It was actually last weekend just so you know. Since her owner likes yarn and stuff she set out on a yarn store hunt.
First things first, there was a little breakfast stop at the golden arches to get some breakfast burritos and OJ, and then it was off to the first stop. Katonah Yarn. Got me some super pretty recylced silk and patriotic cotton for the upcoming holiday and then we were off again.
Got a little bit turned around near the next stop, hadn't ever been there before you see. Of course on this part of the journey Winnie was a little camera shy so there is no photo documentation to show. But Nancy O was adorable and while I restrained, someone else did get a bit o' yarn to make a felted bag. We also got to visit the cutest little quilt store with very kind owners, who knows a new hobby may be in the works.
Next stop in 20 minutes. The sun finally came out and it was such joy to be boppin' around. Are we lost again? Welp at least we got to see the military museum while we turned around. Yes very random.

A quick detour to the mall for a pitstop turned into the most fun part of the day. We walked in really quickly and before we got 20 paces in, the fire alarm goes off. Can you stand the excitement? Well since that is just not the norm and I am somewhat on the cautious side these days, we hightailed it out of there. Well, hightailed it after stopping at the vending machine for a drink first, my navigator did not share in my need to leave. Yes, there was mocking.

Then Winnie just had to stop and smell the pretty flowers. When we looked up we noticed a fair in the parking lot! Oh happy day. Winnie said it would be wrong not to at least go on the ferris wheel.

While getting tickets we saw some fire trucks on their way to take care of that pesky alarm.

As it turns out Winnie was over the weight limit on this one so she had to sit in the parking lot. Poor thing.

Phew the fire trucks left quickly, so must have been a false alarm.

Then it was onto the last yarn/fabric stop. Found the perfect handle for the yarn I bought earlier! Time to go home and knit.
