Yikes! Winnie had a close encounter the other night. She had her top open and forgot all about it til morning. Of course there was a crazy wild rainstorm overnight!! Yikes, thought for sure she would be drowned but luckily it was just partially open and in some mysterious way the rain stayed out of her interior. She is one lucky mini.

Zoinkies!!!! A mouse just crossed Winnie's path!!! It was close but this Winnie wasn't about to squish Minnie.
301 miles, phew!

Today was Winnie's first stop at the pump. It may have been kinda pricey but luckily she has been getting good mileage so far and is mostly a weekend car.

Beaucoup Bucks!

Oh and did I mention it was pouring out? She handled it quite nicely and after a drop off at the massage parlor Winnie went on an hour drive in the rain just for fun. Then a little later getting some milk we passed our own street on the way home!! She just likes driving so much I guess, so it was nice to have to drive a little longer and go up a cool windy road to turn around :)
Ah Winnie's first sunset.

So pretty.

And then...Winnie's first bird poo.

Yuck!

Bird poo winnie the pooh winnie the cooper, wha? I guess it is all part of the adventure.

This was a big day for Winnie. It was actually last weekend just so you know. Since her owner likes yarn and stuff she set out on a yarn store hunt.

First things first, there was a little breakfast stop at the golden arches to get some breakfast burritos and OJ, and then it was off to the first stop. Katonah Yarn. Got me some super pretty recylced silk and patriotic cotton for the upcoming holiday and then we were off again.

Got a little bit turned around near the next stop, hadn't ever been there before you see. Of course on this part of the journey Winnie was a little camera shy so there is no photo documentation to show. But Nancy O was adorable and while I restrained, someone else did get a bit o' yarn to make a felted bag. We also got to visit the cutest little quilt store with very kind owners, who knows a new hobby may be in the works.

Next stop in 20 minutes. The sun finally came out and it was such joy to be boppin' around. Are we lost again? Welp at least we got to see the military museum while we turned around. Yes very random.

Came upon a random Military Museum we did.

A quick detour to the mall for a pitstop turned into the most fun part of the day. We walked in really quickly and before we got 20 paces in, the fire alarm goes off. Can you stand the excitement? Well since that is just not the norm and I am somewhat on the cautious side these days, we hightailed it out of there. Well, hightailed it after stopping at the vending machine for a drink first, my navigator did not share in my need to leave. Yes, there was mocking.

Don't they smell purty?

Then Winnie just had to stop and smell the pretty flowers. When we looked up we noticed a fair in the parking lot! Oh happy day. Winnie said it would be wrong not to at least go on the ferris wheel.

Can we ride it please?!

While getting tickets we saw some fire trucks on their way to take care of that pesky alarm.

Uhoh was something really happening fire related in the mall?

As it turns out Winnie was over the weight limit on this one so she had to sit in the parking lot. Poor thing.

She was so disappointed she hid behind a tree.

Phew the fire trucks left quickly, so must have been a false alarm.

Yeah we were still on the Ferris Wheel when they left.

Fun Fair on the Fly

Then it was onto the last yarn/fabric stop. Found the perfect handle for the yarn I bought earlier! Time to go home and knit.

Day 2

Hello and welcome to The Adventures of Winnie the Cooper! She started out of the dealership with only 5 miles on her, so she is still just a baby. You can read about how this mini got her name here.
